Yeah that is what I am reading and it is truly mindblowing because it seems it would be logical for amazon to want to make those who sell through them succesful? With the small presses dwindling rapidly - Loose-Id closing is a big deal - the mm world is really suffering too. Now there is practically just going to be one main publisher for them. Loose-Id just can't fight Amazon anymore so are going out in control while they can, which is so appreicated. I haven't written any mm in years though, lost interest in doing so, but it makes me very sad for so many friends.

So what is an author to do, right? Not rely on writing money that is for sure.
