Shelby and Maddox -- SNOW DOGS!

I couldn't resist uploading the video of Shelby and Maddox playing in their first real snow. No sound, wasn't turned on, but they were very quiet as they had their fun. It was so peaceful! I hope they get another chance to play in snow soon--I often feel so rotten for living where they hardly get to experience their natural state (so to speak).

My two favourite moments in that are:

1. When the huskies realise it's PLAYTIME once exploring the snow

AND

2. Snow spaniel! Running over to you going OMG HUMAN THERE'S SNOW AND I WENT OUT IN IT AND DUDE THERE'S SNOW AND IMMA GOING BACK INSIDE NAO BUT THERE'S SNOW.

Thanks for sharing that! It's really warm here at the moment, so the snow is pretty exotic :D

They'd seen that dusting of snow at Christmas but nothing like this before! WHEE!!!!!

And lol Claire is silly and very ragmuffiny! She is not really that fat--it is all fur.

We used to get a light dusting where I lived before -- and the reaction in the playground was pretty much what you have in that video there! But you're right, snow is very unusual in most of the country.
