24 Weeks to the Beach! Day 2 and 3

Okay so here is a sad thing.  Work yesterday was insane beyond reason at work - 1.5 hours of overtime, no lunch, worked late, woe woe woe....   I just did my calories for yesterday and I got nowhere near my goal.  I was under 1000 calories for the day and, hmm, my weight was UP this morning by .50.  Hmmm!!

Today? MUCH MUCH better.  I am only 56 calories under my goal, had lunch, didn't have to work late, feel really good, yay.  Hopefully, the weight will be back on track!

I hope this works but it is pretty obvious my previous gameplan was failing miserably.

Not much else going on!  Edits are progressing on the sci fi - two chapters left to go through and my plan for Saturday right now is to pack up my hard copy of notes to plug in, my laptop, my food for the day so I won't be tempted to eat out and then off I plan to go to spend a few hours at Starbucks to plunk down my buns and get these edits plugged in.

I also plan to do some geocaching...   I have only found four so far but have looked for so many! I am awful at this! Just awful!  I need a proper GPS device as my phone sucks or I just am not LOOKING right.   ARGH.   There is one series called Pink Tiger that I want to find - I've found the first one, right near me, and was going to find #7 after work today because it was so pretty out but then I realized it is hidden amongst a grove of trees and I was not exactly dressed for it.  So, Saturday!  That pink tiger is MINE!!!  All mine... bwa ha ha ha...

It is weird, this geocaching thing.  It is fun on so many levels but also?  It twists my brain!  I am both frustrated and super duper crazy determined to stop being such a dork and get good at this.  I am so irritated and yet full of ARGH over two that are right near me that I can't figure out! I SUCK!!!!  LOL.

Anyway.  This is all Nick's fault. it is like one of the hidden object games on the computer I like but this is outside in real life and much more aggravating. ARGH!!!

Until tomorrow...

Doing good on the weight front. You can do this.

Also, geocaching sounds fun. I need to look more into this. Do you belong to a group or a site? And not to be weird or anything, I totally see it as an awesome murder mystery hook.

I've done geocaching - here's the website with all the info. It's fun! They have an app you can download for your phone. http://www.geocaching.com/

The body is a silly thing. I only weigh myself once a week, anything else would result in tears. Good luck! <3

I know next to nothing about geocaching but am intrigued by this pink tiger you speak of.

Yes, this. Our weight goes up and down every hour and every day. Stop obsessing! :-P

My family's tried geocaching and we only found a small percentage of the things we looked for! very frustrating. It is fun though. Good luck on the weight loss. I can empathize because I was working on that the last few months. I did Weight Watchers online and it worked well. However, you have to pay.
