Today was a good day

Busy busy busy busy busy at work, and I didn't get much of a lunch, but I swear, I work for the coolest people. I love the way both Jim and Desiree are so freaking appreciative, about everything. My insisting that 'this is my job'! gets ignored. LOL.

Today was a beautiful day so I raced home as fast as I could, tore into the house, ripped off my work clothes, slammed on my play clothes, threw Maddox's gear on and we got out of the house for a nice long walk. A bit chilly but with brisk walking warmed up plenty. It got dark before we got home but I stuck to the busy streets and street lights and we were fine. It felt SO GOOD to be out and moving about - we got a good walk in Sunday too (then monday and tuesday were icky). Surely spring is just around the corner? SURELY??????

Go you! It's so hard for me to get out of the house once I come home. Usually after I pick up Cupcake we go straight to the playground for an hour or two. Unfortunately, it's been rainy all week so we haven't been in days.

I've been doing pretty okay with remembering to do yoga in the mornings though. I get about 20min in, but I'm trying to up it to 30min. Eventually I want to be doing an hour.

What I *should* be doing is getting up at 6 and walking him in the morning first thing - that would be best for him but I am so darn lazy it is ridiculous. LOL!!!

You and me both! I always say I should get up at 6a and do extra yoga or even get a jump start on writing, but getting out of my nice WARM bed is so hard! And it's not nearly as cold here as it must be over there.

Summer is almost on us, sigh. At least we did get one or two days of almost winter.

:) The week before us here is sunny and warm, but not too warm - best weather. SO welcome after several weeks of bitter cold. BRrrrr.... I live in North Texas for a reason but that reason has been frozen lately! LOLOL.
