Not Sure Where He Is, Exactly

Nick is somewhere in the skies of the world right now, heading toward Texas (in a roundabout way). When I fly to Germany, I go NorthEast up over the States, over Canada, arching over Ireland, Britain, then down to Germany. Mostly over land, in other words. Silly girl me didn't realize that was the norm. LOL. Now Nick is on that path, coming here for six weeks starting TODAY!

The emotions are a bit crazed at the moment.

We've been together just around three years, more or less--there was no set 'date' that we can pinpoint as When. Doesn't matter--our relationship is definitely not the traditional kind, so why have a traditional date? We've known each other over three years now though, which is pretty amazing. If I may be allowed a gushy moment -- I can't imagine not having Nick in my life now. I would DIIIEEEE... LOL Okay not really. If I have learned one thing since Kel died, it is how to be my own person, live my life (even if half the time my life seems to rule me). I owe too much money on my one credit card, but other than that, I'm not doing too badly.

Sleep. It was horrid last night, but I can't blame it on Nick even though he called me frequently with updates on his progress until he boarded his Transatlantic (which see, technically, really isn't) flight. I tossed and turned anyway, the dogs perhaps sensing my mood. And of course Maddox woke me at 6:30. I called in sick--and am gonna tomorrow too--so wanted to get up early to take advantage of the morning anyway.

Here's a recent picture of the brat. He's grown so much, it is making me laugh. He's like a goofy teenage boy. I cannot wait to see what Nick thinks of him. Heh heh.

So, here it is almost 7:30, I'm drinking my morning tea, and contemplating a shower. I have alot to do this morning: Take son to school, get my oil changed, go to the store and get stuff for cleaning tile, come home and mop and vacuum, make my bed and organize laundry a bit. On way to get Nick I am going to stop for croissants from Costco--already have his Nutella waiting and ready--and then head to the airport to await his arrival. Plane left Frankfurl late, but appears to be on time. Which is awesome. 2:25 p.m. Six weeks. I try not to think about that six weeks being over, and Nick leaving again--that will be hell. We're working on getting him here for a 3 month internship though so hopefully we'll be able to get that situated. That's the goal. After that? That's in the foggy future, but we're looking at it. Smile.

Awesome! I can imagine the distance because that was what Stan and I going through couple years ago. Now I can say I'm a proud wife stuck to him for rest of his life. hehe

Maddox is so big! Last time I saw him, he was wee furball! Huskies are my first love but don't tell Esko.

you are a happy camper and looky at how cute your baby is. LOL. He IS huge! I am not sure how much he weighs now, but he is a bulky Sibe whereas Shelby is lean and trim. I can pick her up with ease--him? Ha.

My list of to-do's got changed a bit but the houe is as clean as it is going to get, and I don't hvae my oil changed. I will have to do that tomorrow. LOL. Fun to do, rah--drag Nick with me of course!

We're going to have the most awesome amazing time ever. We're very lucky to be able to do this, given our distance from each other. Where there is a will there IS a way!

Love your flowers!!!

I am about to hop into the shower--the house is as done as it is gonna get. There is still so much... WAAHHH!!!! Oh well. LOL.

To get into the mood I am listening to Roger Cicero. I adore him. Do you know him? I don't care that can't really understand him, this CD just makes me happy.

I don't really know Roger Cicero. I just know one song and I think that the text is quite a lot macho - lol. But he has a nice voice. And it's definitely music that swings a lot. :-)

Yes, and he gave Nick HUGE cuddles and kisses this morning. Heh heh. As did Claire though she is alot calmer and cuddlier. :) "NO DOGS ON THE BED" turned into "Well, she's really so sweet." Ha ha. LOL.

Ahhhh it was so nice to wake up to my own cuddles this morning. THAT is what I love the most. LOL.
