I found something worse than sciatica`

This was me the last five days:

Oh. My. Lord.

IT HURT!!!

I lifted one of these:

I am hard headed, and I also am quite proud of the fact that I am a strong person. So, when it came time to wield the above onto its stand, no way was I gonna ask one of The Boys to do it for me. Geesh! WTF? I am WOMAN! I ROAR!!!!!!!!!

Or it could've been from lifting this:

Her paws got muddy so I carried her into the shower. This is Nick's dog, btw, Shelby the Fierce.

But...

Apparently, best we can tell, whether bottle or dog, that is what I did to myself--twisting and lifting totally screwed me up. It was a chiropractor who saved my life. My doctor just grumbled about the chiro and told me to double the Advil. I also have a number for an acupuncturist, but I don't think I'll need to go that route.

It is lunchtime. I am so much better today, I can pretty much burst out into tears of joy if I think about it too much. LOL. Now, if only a certain professor would hurry up and produce that which we're waiting on (and a certain other entity) then I would really be saying I am having an awesome day.

More later...book thoughts. One thing about laying around alot? One gets to read without feeling guilty, and I finished a couple of books, started a couple of others, and have thoughts on my own as well.

Lying around reading is good...but only pain free!

Feel better!

So that cervical whatchamacallit redirects your spine down your arm? Is it only the left arm or could it go down the right one as well?

Either arm. It sucks. I am finally getting better but it has been a horrid five days. I am so whiney!!!!! Truly though, this kind of pain--I can handle lots of pain, all sorts--and have dealt with a bunch of different kinds. But geesh, this was really vivid. HATED it.
