ALMOST HERE!!!!!

By now Nick is flying over US soil!  Waving to New York possibly, on the way to Washington DC. THAT stop definitely wasn't in the plans, but thanks to Lufthansa, it is now.  As was a marvelous overnight visit with

Can't wait to hear more about that visit!  Nick slept well on Liriaen's couch, so that is good--but he'll be hellish tired by the time he gets here.

Let's see... DC at 3ish, goes through customs, leaves there at 5:09, add in an hour...here at DFW at 7:30!

Shelby and I will be waiting---yes, the dog is going with me. Nick commands it, and so it shall be.

I can't believe this day is finally here. I really can't.

Three months of heaven to follow...

Mostly this time it is for N's internship--he'll be doing the 40 hour workweek, just like me. But I bet will work harder. LOL.

Say hi to the boy! He was lucky to be staying during a time slot when we actually had water. Ah ha ha. Oh wait, I think it's back on -- at 20:31 pm.

We sat among the bats last night. (Real ones, flying deep, in the park near my house.)

Oohhh I can't wait to hear about the bats! And guess who landed early? Yup, he's in DC now! And ZZOOOOMED through customs, so now gets to hurry up and...wait. 2:49 there now, leaves at 5:09, so...yeah. Sounds great though--think you must have a comfy couch so he slept great. Nick tolerated the jet lag really well last time too so hopefully this will be no different (and he can take the one day off tomorrow and just play on the computer and write all day...uh huh).

So glad you were there to rescue N. Um, water is a good thing to have, yeah...

Nick came to work with me today--hello, supposed to sleep all day you know--but no, he woke up bright and peppy so is writing a paper across the street at Starbucks. Then we'll go to lunch, then...not sure what he'll do, go to STarbucks then maybe come over here around 4 or so. LOL. Craazzzyy.
