A Farewell to Ten...

Okay not yet.

But if you have not heard the latest Doctor Who news...you must've been out to dinner. Yes it is official...David Tennant has announced that he will be saying goodbye to his role as The Doctor after the coming specials (4 in total, Nick is telling me).

I am okay with that. I love him as the Doctor, but I look forward to seeing who he regenerates into. I for one would LOVE David Morrissey (especially after watching BLACKPOOL, and STATE OF PLAY with the marvelous marvelous John Simm).

I also look forward to Tennant in other roles. We rustled up a few such as, oh yes, BLACKPOOL, and RECOVERY--wow, awesome if you have not caught that.

My sister Leslie is THRILLED he is leaving. He reminds her of an old boyfriend...so, yeah. She's excited. LOL. She's been letting(?) her just-about-teen daughter watch both Doctor Who and Torchwood and she (Lexie the daughter) also doesn't like Tennant. Silly girl, just copying mom...but she loves Torchwood. Interestingly, Lexie loves Jack-Ianto...my weirdo sister sees NO chemistry between them. *rolls eyes* She is nuts (but she thinks I am nuts?

Ahhh Nick just played Barrowman's new (hit?) single, WHAT ABOUT US. I like it. I love the video.

Um...

Bedtime. Up early to be at B&N at 9 a.m. Was kinda lazy this morning, and then we discovered I had a screw imbedded in a back tire so we had to get that fixed...no dog park today. Poor pups. Maybe tomorrow.

C, semi-freaked that Nick is leaving soon. Dammit. Darn uni! (lol)

So after these specials I guess I will officially be at least three doctors behind, since I haven't seen enough of Eccleston or Tennant for it to really count as having watched them play Who.

LOL. Finding the previous Doctors is hard too. I've seen a few however, and enjoyed them. Especially the old Master, Delgado (first name, can't remember offhand. Oh, Roger Delgado. Yeah.). Egads, he died so young--killed accidentally in a car accident. Eeks.

Took 3 vacation days to spend all time with N that I can. Leaves Saturday night, you know...
