WORD WAR WEEKEND

The house is clean. I am ready for this weekend's GYWO word wars. 

Except for this:

My finger is a casualty of my job--I fold ALOT of maps as part of my regular duties as a research analyst/map queen.  I try to be careful but sometimes it happens anyway.

It happened yesterday, and it is still super tender.  How, I wonder, am I going to be a maniac word warrior this weekend with that thing on the tip of my finger???  I decided to seek help.  How?  Via google!  And guess what--I found a solution!  I had to use the last one, which is not the best of them, but it has helped already.  I'm going to pick up some of the Nu Skin.

I am pretty darn behind on my wordcount, but that is okay.  I am not alone in that at least!  Am hopeful that this weekend of madness will help.

a light coat of super glue will do the job better than Nu Skin.

You have to keep a tube of triple antibiotic ointment on hand! Put a dab on and a band-aid before you go to bed. Works wonders. :)

I had almost caught up, was only 100 or so behind when I logged off last night. Then at the last minute tonight, I got invited to meet a friend and her kids for dinner after haircuts, and since I'd already planned to get a cut anyway ....

... you can imagine the rest. I'm not eve sure why I'm still on line!
