Shelby and Maddox -- SNOW DOGS!

I couldn't resist uploading the video of Shelby and Maddox playing in their first real snow. No sound, wasn't turned on, but they were very quiet as they had their fun. It was so peaceful! I hope they get another chance to play in snow soon--I often feel so rotten for living where they hardly get to experience their natural state (so to speak).

Enjoy!

I think two is easier, frankly. They entertain each other, there is a bondign that goes on between members of that breed that just doesn't happen with others. They adore each other, wear each other out--zoomies are so much fun with a buddy!! I would hesitate NOT to have two.

I think if we didn't have the two Chihuahuas and Alaskan Klee Kai, Todd would be more agreeable to a second husky. But since we already have four dogs, Todd is adamant that we have enough. While I would like another Husky, I do agree with him. If I were to get another one, I would probably have more dogs than I could adequately care for.

If your present husky doesn't eat the Chi's, I'd be happy. THe Klee Kai's are adorable! Do you get grrry if you see them called Miniature Siberian Huskies? Because they aren't from what I understand. I've had four, have three now, and yeah, four is alot re: vet bills and such!

I haven't come across anyone call her a miniature Siberian Husky, but I have heard her called a mini husky. It doesn't bother me because it's essentially true. The main part of the breed is the Alaskan Husky, combined with American Eskimo and a couple of other spitz breeds to give the breed its size.

I haven't had too many vet bills with these guys. It's just with Kiba recently due to the hookworms and now the Lyme Disease. He should be alright, though. The last big vet bill should be his neutering next month, but you never know when an accident will happen.
