And it is not the one I would've picked, but my son decided to be the one to choose. Since she has latched onto him and seems to really want to worm her way into his heart, I let him.
Her name is Shelby.

Well, that is okay. The only silly thing is my sister's two dogs are Claire and Shelby, and now I have a Claire and Shelby? Yup. Both our Claire's came named already though. And her Shelby is only half husky. Too funny.
I have decided to do something drastic. Cross out the LOL's in my life. I am way too dependent on them and have taken a keen dislike to the non-word. I mean...really. Why not just say "Oh your comment made me laugh outrageously!" Makes sense to me!
I finally, FINALLY finished the amazing and wonderful Kushiel's Justice. Written by Jacqueline Carey, it is the second of the second trilogy in her Kushiel's works. I loved, loved LOVED this book--it is hands down my favorite. I was rather bored and eye-rolly after the last one, but this one? Beautifully plotted, hot and sexy (yeah, but NOT like a romance novel, I promise). There was revenge, and hate, and intrigue and angst and love and loss and hurt, lotsa hurt and pain agony ouch wow... All my favorite things. Just really loved this book, dammit.
Nick is reading the first in the Discworld series to me. Not sure but I think I read it years ago, but it is slow to hook us both.
Next up reading for me is the monster book AZTEC by Gary Jennings. I am intrigued by this book based solely on Amazon reviews. We'll see if it ends up captivating me just as much as Kushiel's Justice did.
Been playing most only IJ, when I have the time to play at all. Am over at BNSF right now, with no internet. The good news? Someone has finally been hired to help out. FINALLY. Geesh. Her name is Jude. And, I know nothing more, other than she has a hell of a lot to learn and I sure hope she is fun.
