Good luck with the job hunt, if that's what you decide to do. At least you're in a strong position: you have a job that you don't hate, which means that you're only going to change job if you find something better, you don't have to accept anything, just to pay the bills.
I have added you as a buddy on NaNo. I'm heleninwales again. If I do it this year, I will just be attempting a quarter NaNo of 12500 words because the only way I can justify spending time on it is if I write in Welsh -- which I have never done. The class I attend focuses almost solely on speaking the language.
