Well, everyone else is doing it!
So, here it is! What I wrote in 2010:
January -- zero
February -- zero
March -- zero
April -- zero
May -- zero
June -- zero
July -- zero
August -- zero
September -- zero
October -- zero
November -- 56k, finished 98,494 words, all original fiction aka 'ballet boy'
December -- Rewrites on said book
Go me, yeah?
Though I didn't write much this year until the end (thanks to Nano and, yes, Wellbutrin), one thing I *did* do alot of was beta'ing fics for a wide range of writers and fandoms and such. Most were for my Nick as his first reader and tweaker, but also for
blue_fjords,
amand_r, and
misswinterhill. I also helped out a few others on projects here and there. I thank you all so much for letting me be a part of the creation of your works. I love beta'ing you guys so very much!
I also beta'd a couple dozen papers for my daughter and her friends, everything from school projects to internship projects to papers for different classes, as well as helping a couple of kids with their graduate-school application essays.
Looking back, 2010 was really The Year of Beta'ing for me, and I have loved it, though I hardly wrote a thing myself.
2011 will be different. It has to be. Goodbye 2010--I am so very glad to see you go.
