Oh no, I made a ton of copies for my daughter's internship, Samaritan House here in Fort Worth--a nonprofit community for Aids/HIV homeless. I had checked with the Topeka office about it, and was told sure fine, but six weeks later, that bastard manager fired me for it, and for, get this, having Netflix sent to work. Bottom line--he had fired my boss a couple of months before, and knew I was Chris's minion (true) and wanted me out. So he found a way to do it, even though it was serious, serious reaching.
I am glad to be gone from there. Everyone I cared about is also gone, and we meet often for lunch or dinner. It is ridiculous and sad what that company has done to a once vibrant office. There are now 5 people in it--a year or so ago there were 13. Five were fired including me, and two quit on their own, got the hell out of there. One of the girls also fired sued for wrongful termination and won. I won't go that far--though I could have a good case. I got my unemployment so am ready to just go on with things.
