I didn't comment back to everyone's comments on my last post as my news about the hearing warrants a brand new post. But first, THANK YOU EVERYONE! Your powerful thoughts were VERY powerful as the best outcome possible has won out.
My former employer WITHDREW their request for appeal. WITHDREW! THEY GAVE UP! That of course means that I am FREEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And, most importantly, this means that they are no longer a threat to me, and now, when applying for new positions, I don't have to say, "Well, I was fired..." At least not without following it up with, "But, I fought it, and won."
It still hurts deep down and hard what happened. It really does. But, it is over now, I am DONE, and there is no more reason to worry about it.
I wish I knew exactly how it came about that they realized that they had screwed up by letting The Rat Bastard fire me. I know from Chris that without us there anymore, that the satisfaction with B&W has dropped. He is working as a contractor at BNSF, and is gleefully swiping work that we would've done...HA! We're having lunch tomorrow to celebrate!
So thank you, now I can completely put this behind me, but I appreciate everyone SO MUCH. Yes, I am on unemployment, and yes it sucks, but I am also very very fortunate and have other means to keep the wolves at bay, and can now pursue what I really want to do. Okay second thing, as the first thing would of course be to write full-time. :)
