Oh, YOU! You broke my heart last night! *SOB* Oh my gosh, there I was, feet propped up on my desk, eyes closed, listening to my ipod, the wedding chapter... When I hit __________ I literally dropped my feet to the ground, my eyes flew open and I said "OH NO!!!!"

George George George, how could you? You twisted a knife in my gut, not once, not twice, but THREE times...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brilliant.

Anyone else out here worship read this series, in particular, have finished this book, Storm of Swords?

Brilliant. Bloody (and I do mean bloody) brilliant.

*cries*

LOL.

Sigh... GRRM. I love you so.

And yeah I was at work during this most recent revelation. Boss was gone. LOL!

I have a post in mind about GRRM's works, and my other favs, Jacqueline Carey and Philippa Gregory, and how these three authors are shaping my direction.

But of course, I am at work, and the Boss is here.

Gotta be good. For now.

Bye!

I have only read the first book in the series. I have the second one, "A Clash of Kings" in the pile, but it'll probably be a few months before I get down that far.

AHHHH! I love this man's writing and plotting and characters, both good and bad, and I love torment, pain and agony... LOL.

But.

AAHHHH!!!! He got me on that chapter. But yet, it was something that had to be, and now that I can look back, I am nodding my head.

Brilliance.

I read most of his "Wild Cards" series (well, he edited and did some of the writing, so I don't know if it can truly be called "his" or not).

I may move "Clash" up some, but I don't think I want to tackle it until I pass (if I ever do) this certification exam.

Mission for 2008: finish reading this series, and read those damned Outlander books. That's some hefty reading, but I just need to crack down and read them.

My best friend's Mom has been trying to get me to read them for years, moreso since I told her the Cardno family were tenants of the Frasers. In fact the towns of Cardno (Wester Cardno, Easter Cardno, The Mains of Cardno and the Ord of Cardno) are just outside Fraserburgh in Aberdeenshire.
