SciFi is good though! I love SciFi. Psychological horror... yeah I could see you doing that as well. :) You are such a nice person but deep in your mind exists... Ha! Just kidding (a little!). :)
I think though here at least, any writerly discussions would be good, at least with this group. I wrote several articles for GYWO last year, hoping more would jump in to talk about stuff, but that didn't happen. Maybe this year! My favorite place actually at least for YA fiction and for fantasy is on Reddit. Really good groups of people there, very supportive and they have good moderators who smack bad behavior down. :)
And why YA? I am not sure why - I like writing younger people, I like a character having to deal with issues I saw my kids deal with (though I guess they are just plain ol' adults now!). I love how the books themselves look on that shelf at the bookstore - sounds silly maybe, but YA books are so PRETTY. That and that YA hasn't ever truly sprung into the emarket pulls at the old desire to be published the traditional way. I just want that. I've had ebooks, now I want this. :) So we shall see!
