I promised Nick I would not make a fuss over it being his birthday today, November 11th (already is in Germany, you know)...not be all shmooshy about how much I love him and am so proud of him, and am amazed by the person he is, the person he's become, the person he's becoming... I promised not to gush about how much he means to me, how he's made my life so rich and wonderful and warm these nearly almost 4 years since we met (wow!), and well, you know, I promised not to embarrass him by saying silly things like....

I love you Nicholas, with all my heart. Happy Birthday, Baby! Hope your birthday is a lovely one!
