Water for Elephants, by Sara Gruen.

I have not finished it though I enjoyed it. Bad C.

I like this meme. Since I am at work, I thought I might not have a book here--turns out I had three. But this was the first one I laid eyes on.

I AM SO DOING THIS. Because I am also at work, and it is likely to be a text book. Hee. But yeah, I love this meme too.

THIS IS THE HOLIEST OF ALL HOLY PLACES, AND IT IS GUARDED BY THE SLEER.

Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book, which I finished last night.

What do you think of Water For Elephants?

I like it actually! I just...stopped reading it. I believe that coincides with the timing of my dear Nick [livejournal.com profile] cruentum's visit. I am taking it home to finish it. Need to finish The Book Thief, too.

It is in present tense (Water) and about a circus vet. Not at all what I expected.

I really enjoyed "Graveyard." I had read "The Witch's Headstone" as a short story a while back, and what I love about the book is that most sections (like the Dance with the Dead sequence) can be read individually and enjoyed.

I think you forgot to post the sentence!

I loved that book! But I'm weirdly into circuses right now. Not sure why. Also reading the biography of PT Barnum.

Annnnyway, enjoy it when you do finish it! And yes, post the actual sentence, silly!
