Water for Elephants, by Sara Gruen.

I have not finished it though I enjoyed it. Bad C.

I like this meme. Since I am at work, I thought I might not have a book here--turns out I had three. But this was the first one I laid eyes on.

THIS IS THE HOLIEST OF ALL HOLY PLACES, AND IT IS GUARDED BY THE SLEER.

Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book, which I finished last night.

What do you think of Water For Elephants?

I like it actually! I just...stopped reading it. I believe that coincides with the timing of my dear Nick [livejournal.com profile] cruentum's visit. I am taking it home to finish it. Need to finish The Book Thief, too.

It is in present tense (Water) and about a circus vet. Not at all what I expected.

I really enjoyed "Graveyard." I had read "The Witch's Headstone" as a short story a while back, and what I love about the book is that most sections (like the Dance with the Dead sequence) can be read individually and enjoyed.
