Only about 50 posts on my flist I haven't read, and don't know when I can. Work is sucking up my brain. Feel free to beat me now.

And, I just got another big task to take care of. Really kids--work is insane, so insane my boss questioned me yesterday. "Did you REALLY have 19 hours devoted to map production last week?"

Uh, yeah boss, did.

And DAMMIT--now there will be popcorn at 3! Yet another popcorn party I can't eat popcorn--will eat my grapefruit. It is so hard to be good, sometimes, but weighing 34 lbs. less has been worth it. 5 more to go, and then I can start thinking about adding in this and that.

Anyway.

On a happy note--more fan letters for Red (or ARTS). This is pretty damn cool. Especially since it translates to more royalties. Biggest check I've had in awhile is on its way. Whee!

Work on new fic is going tremendously well...nothing like being 36k in and finally figuring out who the bad guy is. Grin. But, I think it is a good one, and I did this last time with Red, and it all worked out in the end.

I really am a pantster-plotter at heart after all. No more outlines, ever, for this kid.

C, very happy to be writing seriously for Loose-Id again...this is where I belong

Congrats on the royalties. That is awesome. :)

It does, Linda, it really does. Life is so much easier--at least in this quadrant--when I don't fight it.

Am just figuring on going home really exhausted tonight, which depresses me. Today I have 10 billable map hours...but of course I can't do that. But yet all these have to be done today...

A thrill a minute.

Ken gets work like that, too. He ends up having to bill it to something else sometimes.

Just 'lil 'ol me burning braincells again, but what does ARTS stand for? And when ya gonna show off a few more fan letters?

Kevvie, still waiting for his autographed cover, or the movie to be released.

A Red Tainted Silence... Some of the fanreaders came up with it. :) I always just called it Red!

Wonder if new book should be something about Blue...it

And the nominee for "best stupid question" goes too...

Pardon me, I have to go write my acceptance speech now.

Congrats on the weight loss - hard work paying off.

Outlines are great revision tools, but I could not write to them. Whatever works. And if you're getting fan letters, it must obviously be working.

I'm getting lots of them.

I really do think that is where I screwed up with my historical fantasy--I sooooo outlined that sucker that writing felt like a straitjacket!

I have put that aside, but not forever. :)

Didn't you used to tease me for writing Ambergrin without a clear outline in place? *grin*

Congrats on the big royalty check! You know you deserve it, and you deserve for it to be even bigger. That makes me very happy.

Hugs!
