I should be making another travel post later on today. So many pictures to choose from! All with their little anecdotes. I'd like to do it in one post, but might not make it.

I need to go to the store to get laundry detergent but bah, don't want to get dressed.

The 'get evil carbs out of your life again, yo' project is starting to see results. 3.8 lbs. gone since last Monday, when I started doing my clean eating again. I KNOW processed foods are the devil on my body, but sometimes, Subway sandwiches can't be beat. That is fine but I'd slipped back into eating them all the time, and THAT is when trouble rises. Nipped that in the bud. 3.2 more lbs. to get back to where I should be.

The monthly writing group meeting was yesterday, and I went. *Gasp* I am getting nicely comfy around these kids (all a wee bit younger than me but I have never cared about that). More it is being myself around them, and being able to be so for the most part. What a relief that is. I loved yesterday. Got over 1300 words written, laughed a hell of a lot, learned about a spiffy program called Drop Box that stores files (which is probably a safer answer to carrying around my thumb drive and then forgetting it or worse, losing it), added some new twitterpeeps, listened to a band practice (oy! this was at a coffee shop, Java Jo'z, and the owner I guess let them set up and practice for I presume playing there later), and drank lots of coffee, tea...and as such was completely wired by the time I left. And stayed that way. Did not sleep well.

I worked on ballet boy again. I KNOW I AM SUCH A LIAR but yes, I am working on it again, such a loser. LOL. Am also working on my big bang, and a couple of other things as well.

Wednesday night will be our SW FW writer's group, and it will be interesting to see if this is productive or not. I am not positive it will be, honestly, unless the two sisters buckle down and actually bring something, actually settle on something to write. I really like them, but they are huge Doctor Who fans and I have a feeling they'll want to talk about the episode.

A mention was made yesterday about whether or not I am available on Tuesdays. I perked up at that, and am hopeful that maybe, maybe, a slight shift will happen in the Tuesday night group (you know, the one I don't go to because the dude who runs it, Derek, called me a liar, the bastard--NO ONE calls me a liar, Dude...screw you!). So we'll see. I'd love it as it will be far more productive than the twice-monthly Wednesday group. Plus, the people rock, there is alot of good writing going on, hellacious amounts of enthusiasm for the craft of writing, which is absolutely fantastic.

Okay this is what I have going on now:

1. Mander's Big Ass Big Bang - fanfic, Torchwood, semi-take on You've Got Mail, needs new name. 4061 words and a killer outline for that one. Goal to finish: August 30. Leisurely pace for now on this one so I can finish ballet boy.

2. Ballet boy - m/m fiction, Loose-Id fic that is back on the plate - also known as One False Note but ballet boy is more fun to say. 47,203 words. What this puppy needs is an outline. That is my biggest problem--the idea of what will happen is in my head, but very vague. I'd like to spend time today on that. Technically, I could get this done fairly quick, if I don't' crash again. I am sick of crashing. It would be rather awesome to finish this by my birthday, May 29th. I think that is a stellar goal, actually.

3. Stage - historical fantasy, 3,719 words. This one will be worked on with Wednesday night group. Solid outline, love what I have so far. We'll meet every-other week, I'd like a chapter-a-session pace on this one.

4. ___________ - _________________. LOL. I have had an idea bouncing around in my head for awhile, but nothing concrete until after ballet boy is done. If the Tuesday night group happens though...and, it was something inspired by London, actually. I have been carrying around the first line in my head ever since. Contemporary fantasy--I hesitate to say 'urban' for various reasons.

Doctor Who! The episode, the episode! Just go read [livejournal.com profile] kalichan's post as she sums up my own thoughts quite neatly. I WANT MONSTERS! NEW ONES!!! Daleks just don't do it for me anymore. I mean, look at them (in my user pic). They are ADORABLE!!! (Dalek Blech, the gray one, lives with Mander now, and Dalek Skittles, the rainbow one, lives with Stuart and Paul at Ty Rosa, and were both knitted by Nick).

It rained here all day yesterday and as a consequence, I've had to shower the dogs, mop, and am going through towels like crazy. ARGH. Such a pain, rain, with dogs--especially because of the huge area of no grass under my red oak, and in front of the porch. Huskies are notoriously hard on grass. Sigh. I miss having a pretty backyard, but I rather love my dogs, so that's that. Got to get cracking, I guess!

I hate laundry, but it must be done. UGH.

I thought Boe said 'we' meaning him and the Doctor. I dunno. Rewatching, I am seeing and comprehending all sorts of things I didn't the first couple of times.

Technically, at that very moment in the time line, linear time, they are the last of their kind.

Oh oh okay, timeline linear yeah, but time is wibbly wobbly for the Doctor, and the Master is out there, waiting to play. Makes sense.
