Last class lecture was tonight, and I can honestly say this history class has changed my life.

That is my favorite thing about school and the best case scenario for any class. I remember the day I took my Existentialism final. My brain felt like soup by the end, but I knew even then that without that class and the awareness it had given me I would turn out different.

Yes, soupy brain here absolutely but it is bursting with such amazing thoughts and new views on things, and a keen new awareness of just how horrific the past was (oh the things we were not, kids are still not, taught!). It absolutely kills me.

And what absolutely thrills me is to realize just how good a History department UTA has. It is now moving to Tier One University status, which makes things all the better. It is a great place to be, which slays me - lol, guess I won't be leaving Texas anytime soon after all. Oh well.
