I am not sad though, even though Nick is leaving for Germany on Friday.
Why?
Because...it looks like a pretty good "for certain" that I'll be back at the airport in August, waiting for him to walk off that plane again. This time, for three months.

Date: 2008-04-04 02:33 pm (UTC)We are both very optimistic--it is just getting all the paperwork together, which we went through last night and see as very doable. And of course, Nick will stay here for free, and I'll even feed him (he doesn't eat much--but drink? oh yeah--MOUNTAIN DEW ON TAP!). It'll be awesome, but very intense too for him, so not the vacation this six weeks has been. There are always the weekends though! And Austin is just down the road apiece...
But here is another squee--I definitely know he can handle whatever they throw at him. *beams at him*
