Six weeks of heaven...

...will soon come to a close, and I will TRY to get my act together with pictures and comments for those interested on the heaven that it has been.

I am not sad though, even though Nick is leaving for Germany on Friday.

Why?

Because...it looks like a pretty good "for certain" that I'll be back at the airport in August, waiting for him to walk off that plane again. This time, for three months.

Life is beautiful, isn't it.

It won't be a definite for certain until ...say two or so months from now ... there is still paperwork to get through and all that, so I am still more hesitant than C is about spreading the news, but if the paperwork goes smoothly it should work out.

I didn't say WHY though you might get to hopefully probably possibly maybe for almost certain come back in August, though...right! :)

Ah, you are always more careful than C when it comes to trusting good news, or at least that's how I experience you two. I can relate to both, the squees and the worries. *hugs C and N*

Smile--I am the Squee!

We are both very optimistic--it is just getting all the paperwork together, which we went through last night and see as very doable. And of course, Nick will stay here for free, and I'll even feed him (he doesn't eat much--but drink? oh yeah--MOUNTAIN DEW ON TAP!). It'll be awesome, but very intense too for him, so not the vacation this six weeks has been. There are always the weekends though! And Austin is just down the road apiece...

But here is another squee--I definitely know he can handle whatever they throw at him. *beams at him*

I guess there will a kind of internship or something for him? I'm so curious, I know. If you feel that it's bad luck to talk about it yet, just pretend I haven't asked. I love to see you both so optimistic and happy. *more hugs*
