Rewatching the first Doctor Who (9). Verrryyy interesting going back to the start, knowing what I know (ahem, we, as Nick is watching too, and will likely smack me for writing this post while watching) now. LOL.

Just...too much fun.

So. The Doctor is regenerating...there is NO WAY David Tennant is gonna leave now. C'mon, no! He wants to stay the Doctor, he loves the Doctor role, RTD et al love him, fans love him, he IS the Doctor (though I enjoyed 9 also--just differently). So, my thought is...he'll regenerate, yeah, but something will happen to the 11th Doctor! He'll be annihilated!

Oh no, what to do! The Daleks kill the Doctor at last! Or so they'll think!

Enter Rose the Brilliant--and together with Jack and Martha (with Donna anguished but cheering on--or will she be zapped along with 11? Could happen!)

Anyway... Those left, led by Rose, will use the Doctor's HAND!!!! And with that they will somehow regenerate him using the Tardis technology...back to David Tennant, 10!

That's my theory!

Har har.

And they damn well better save Ianto and Gwen, grrrr.


(Oh Lordy, how in the WORLD did I get so hooked on this show? HUH?)

We should switch flists- seems like EVERY SINGLE PERSON on mine is a Dr. Who fan. amanuensis1 and violetisblue, femmequixotic, bethbethbeth, luthien and ellen_fremedon come to mind, and I think there are probably dozens of others. :)

LOL!!! I was not a Who fan until Nick came to visit, and our friend Shannon, who is HUGELY into Ianto from Torchwood, made me watch some Torchwood (all out of order) and a few Doctor Who episodes. I enjoyed the Doctor Who episodes I saw, and was shocked. Really. I'd always rolled eyes at Doctor Who. But BLINK, ROSE, the one Nick and I always change Are You My Mommy? just sold me on the quality of writing, adventure, and fun. Plus Tennant is a bouncy thing, and loads of fun. Torchwood I was less enamored of, though it may be because I read out of order. Doctor Who I watched sort of in order, but well enough--and now I adore the show. :)

And I like John Barrowman, Captain Jack--though Nick of course is MADLY in LOOOVVEEEE with him...:)

I usually hop over to Nick's flist to poke around--I don't generally like to jump into big discussions, because I always have to leave, and it may be days before I can get back. (kicks real life) I will nose around though on your friends list--lol--thanks!

I'm so glad you're enjoying the show! I'm also looking to expand the Who section of my flist and I'm going about it by checking out some communities and then seeing who is about and people's writing styles and thoughts and such.

I recommend these following four places -- I'm just sort of lurking around them so far, getting a feel for them and such, but overall the tone of each place is good and welcoming.

Oh yes yes yes, I heart this show! I think I like your path. Going to trot along and take a look... I am not looking to write the Doctor, but oh you know, I sure would like to write WILL!!!!!!!!!

Just saw the ep today (couldn't get to it earlier, sadly) but that's almost a good thing, since now I have less days to wait until Saturday! I like your theory about the hand - especially since they showed it sort of prominently at the beginning of the episode. I really can't see Tennant leaving right now, so *something* has got to happen.

This whole thing makes me wish I watched really Old Who, I want to see the first Davros eps!

And YAY! You like Rose! Almost all my friends hate her, but I think she's awesome. You may want to check out Secret Life of a Call Girl - it stars the same actress (Billie Piper) and is clever enough. :)

Oh yes, the wait! N and I usually watch it on Sundays, but this one--we won't wait. LOL.

There are so many theories! I have heard some really good ones. I agree on the Old Who--I'd like to trot back and see some (even though I scoffed when I was younger, and it was on PBS). LOL.

Of course I like Rose. She rocks! She looks a bit strange, but I like her. Yup. Martha is okay...though I never bought her LOOOVVEEEE for the Doctor. Donna... I'm still trying to figure her out. Really.

You have to check this out: Nick follows this guy's reviews. This one was hilarious though--a minute by minute breakdown of his thoughts. He has...issues.
