Election Night Mania

It is 4:30 in the morning in Germany...and Nick is still up, following the election with me. Grin. Needless to say...no writing today. I did make a lovely dinner of salmon, green beans, couscous and later chocolate chip cookies. Yum! Cleaned the kitchen, played with the doggies...and talked with Nick. Lots. *smiles at the piccie in the corner of my monitor and waves*

Enough on politics.

So, this little meme is going around, and since I had these adorable pictures from when we took the dogs to the dog park, and took them for ice cream after because it was warm:

Yeah, Nick was an excellent election companion. Fortitude of steel on that one.

One of the best things about last night was realizing during the speeches that of my 7 chat windows in Google last night, one was British, one was German, and two others were Canadian. One was a US ex-pat who mostly works in New Zealand. The rest were US folk, local and afar. Amazing.

Also, your dogs are made of awesome.
