Today was the most amazing writing day I've had and enjoyed in, well, years.   If my sentences below are a wee bit jumbled, it is because I am beyond, beyond, exhausted.  BEYOND exhausted, but I am extremely pleased, too.

This was part of the GYWO's group I've talked about here, for those who don't know--it is a whole slew of writers who decided to join in together, for a year long commitment, devoting themselves to writing.  We had to choose a word count goal, and knowing deep down I am totally capable of this, I chose the 300k.

Until today, I was sure I'd seriously messed up.  Mind you, I've had a mighty struggle settling into something.  My heart longs to write X, but I know I am not ready yet to tackle it.  And then, there is Y and Z too, you know?  Too many, too many, and I am rusty at best as a writer, not having written seriously in way too long.

Today's word wars therefore were immensely important to me.  (In recognition of just how tired I am, I couldn't figure out how to spell 'immensely' without looking it up. Geesh.)  Anyway, the word wars proved to be exactly what I needed.   And once I post this, I am passing out, and without excuse.  I am zoning, bad, but so happy I could soar through the clouds.  So goodnight all, those of you in GYWO who are debating the word wars, DO IT!  BELIEVE!  I set myself the task of doing each and every one of them, eight of the little bastards, and I did it. I did it!  How well, you ask?  LOOK!

13,216 FREAKING WORDS!!!!!!

I believe I will go to sleep now. G'nite all!

Me too. I kept hoping you would come in! Pout. Grin. I have been going nuts over this silly story. But, grin, knowing it has a home already probably helps, too. LOL.
