Nick likes to talk me into doing things that even he has no business doing. He knows I am easy...and have this inner weakness desire to do whatever makes him happy. In other words, he manipulates me with hardly more than a cute pout and a small whine to join him in his wicked ways, despite my catching on real quick he's up to something. (Argh! I fall for it every time, I swear!)

It has been awhile though since he talked me into doing something with him...our previous couple of attempts just didn't work out so well. We both dropped out of the most recent one (though he at least is finishing his eventually, I put mine in the shredder). Before that one, I actually pulled off success whereas he didn't (in Harry Potter fandom, which I wasn't ever a part of, I just have a thing for Neville Longbottom, what can I say?), and the time before that, I think we both failed and dropped out. I think.

Before then? Heck, I don't remember...I think it was HP fandom too, though. Or maybe he pulled it off. That was the Snape fic (so love this story)...and of course there was the adorable Snape puppet thing...and oh yeah, he roped me into that one and I drew a picture of Snape with pen and ink. That was fun, really, as he finished his in the McDonald's in Hamburg at the train station. Can't wait to see that station again! Fond memories.

Our HP time really didn't last that long, though, and after it was over, I thought I was safe, he was done with fandoms, etc. HA!!! Apparently not! I so underestimated the power of TORCHWOOD!!!!

Oh, I haven't explained myself, what I am talking about, have I? Sorry.

Yes, Nick's talked me into doing that which I said I never would ever ever ever EVER do again, and I do mean EVER do again...I've signed up for a fic fest. A multi-fandom fic fest. The [livejournal.com profile] lgbtfest to be exact. *palms face*

My user pic is a hint as to who (what?) I'm writing about. There was only one possible prompt for this fandom and it was about Mitchell (it is always about Mitchell! George is so much cuter, geesh!), so I chose an 'any fandom' one that should be perfect. Hopefully, it'll work out well, and I won't toss this one into the shredder, too. The boys of TW might even make an appearance. THAT would be amazing, given TW leaves me shaking in my boots!'

Time for bed, to dream about werewolves. I love wolves. They are so awesome, and though George isn't a very pretty werewolf I don't care...what a nice body!

I considered, briefly, doing one of the LOST ones about an unnamed Flight 815er who is gay. Then I realized I'm not writing enough as it is, I really can't justify writing something that I'm not all that invested in.

LOL between all your flying and visiting friends and family, I am amazed how much you do write! I'm a few thousand behind at the moment...hope to catch up soon. I meant to get up and write this morning but Tiff is sick and I ended up helping her with stuff. Dang, we think she has the flu. THat is not good.

Could I use any more exclamation points!

You know, Jack and Mitchell would make a very pretty, interesting, nicely symbiotic pairing, now that I think about it. Mitchell would be able to feed from Jack without permanently killing him, and Jack would have someone else to spend a very, very long time with.

I'm bad about writing to prompts, so I've avoided fic fests so far, but [livejournal.com profile] lgbtfest looks very interesting. I haven't read all of the prompts, but I'm looking forward to reading the fic that comes out of it. Good luck with your piece for it!

Actually that is true. I think Being Human is a little tough to slash though--the two guys, to me, are too much the good friends, and there isn't anyone else to put with them. But a Mitchell/Jack pairing, would be interesting for that reason. I haven't really poked my head into this fandom (TW is enough for me) but from what I see, Mitchell is the preferred...guess cuz he is the hot one.

But George is so fun! I hope I can capture him well.

I agree, George is fun! BTW, did you know that [livejournal.com profile] invisible_lift wrote a short BH/TW crossover fic a while back?

Uh huh, he showed it to me! Loved it and asked him why it wasn't longer...LOL!!!! In fact really it was his insistence that got Nick to watch it again, I think (wasn't in right frame of mind first time, I think). And then got me hooked on it. It was a fun, too-fast ride. But at least there will be more. YAY!

I discovered BH independently, but he and I have been squeeing over it together for a while now.

I'm thrilled there will be a second series, yay!

HA! Lifty squees! There's the proof!

But maybe any guy would over adorable George--heck, Nick squees over him too, come to think of it.

Off to bed. Am just totally whacked, as usual.

George is so much cuter, geesh!

i will have to agree, i'm all about george
you should write the one where mitchell's blue-striped mug gets together with jack's blue-striped mug and they tell stories - it could totally happen

George is HOT! Okay he has a sweet face, but since we get so much naked George--gotta say, I can appreciate that physique he hides. LOL.

I think that is a marvelous idea! Do it! They'd never get any sleep, they'd scare each other to bits!

o yeah, we definitely appreciate that of course he has to remove his clothes before he changes (although, i would appreciate seeing him burst and rip out of his clothing as well)

Who is Mitchell?

LOL Mitchell is a vampire. This is from the BBC2 series Being Human. It is fantastic! The premise sounds silly--a ghost, a werewolf and a vampire try to live normal lives. But it is anything but silly. FULL of wonderful twists and turns and angst and and and oh! George is so adorable! He is...excitable. He is the werewolf, and he does not like being a werewolf, at all.

Ah - I've heard of Being Human, and it sounds like great fun! But sadly, I have no idea how to get a chance to watch it. I might get the DVDs once they are released, but recently I thought that I shouldn't spend so much money on buying stuff.

I knew who it was!!! *pats George* have you seen all the episodes thus far? I was so pleased with George for most of the last one. :)Though ever since Annie scared Owen senseless I've grown to like her quite a bit too. And Mitchell's sweet, if suprisingly naive considering his age...:D I love 'em all.

Oh hell yeah. Seen them all, twice, watched the original pilot (more George!) too. Am thrilled there will be a second series! THRILLED! LOL.

Dang, to write more would be spoilery, in case others haven't seen it all. LOL. But...WOW on the ending. Think they had those last two scenes tucked away in case they got a second series out of it? WHEE!!!!
