Date: 2009-03-25 02:45 am (UTC)...
title "out of the pocket" about SoCal HS QB (hehe, abbrev.) who sort of accidentally comes out (very low on angst and mostly positive reception to the news, some dissent from classmates, and a sort of boy meets boy first time thing - way cute)
other one was... "what they always tell us" about 2 brothers, older one kinda popular, younger one bit of an outcast (due to "things") more angsty than the other but happy ended and more detail on the 'first time relationship' stuff
both YA at my library, but really not bad
long fic of doom has one more part to go! wheee!

Date: 2009-03-25 02:51 am (UTC)When Nick and I were in San Francisco we went to a really nice bookstore in the Castro district, found several really good books there. I wrote down a list of some of the titles and never looked them up. But I was amazed at the variety of the books...frankly the m/m books I write are bought mostly by women, though i get guys too now and then. ]
I'm on a book-buying moratorium though...saving up for our Wales trip so we have money for petrol. LOL. but I'll keep the titles, this time.
your long fic of doom--it is not posted, yet, parts of it, is it? :)
