MAJOR EDIT!!!!!
I FINISHED THE #$@*ing FIC!

ARGH!!!

My  [livejournal.com profile] lgbtfest  fic is EATING MY BRAIN!!!!

*thunk*

Two more scenes to go.  Just two more...one big, one wrap-up, and I am DONE!!!!

I am already over 5,000 words.

Never mind it is due today.

WHY CAN'T I WRITE SHORT?????

Anyone know the answer to my desperate question:  Who would be taller, the werewolf or the P.C.?  [info]blue_fjords and I are trying to find out! HALP!!!!!  It is IMPORTANT FOR MY NEXT SCENE to know WHO IS THE TALLER!!!!!!!!!!!!

In other news, daughter made straight A's her first semester as a Public Relations major and that was with 18 hours--KICK ASS, KID!  I have hit my weight loss goal of 46 lbs. as of today (since January 1) I've already written 5k words this month (SQUEE!) and...

...there are only 48 more days until I see the love 'o my life, [info]cruentum (as if no one here knew who I'm talking about).

Life is rather sweet.

(Oh, and I have enough spending money for Wales now! WHEW!)  darn exchange rates

I don't know exactly, but I believe Andy's the taller of the two. Russell Tovey is roughly as tall as Aidan Turner, who is 6' tall according to the IMDB, and Tom Price is a good 2-3 inches taller than JB, who is also 6' tall. (I agonized over that detail for my fic, "A Taste for It". Made me have to re-write a hunk of it because Andy's taller than Ianto.)

Yay, I win! \o/

Well, in my case, discovering the height difference made part of what I wrote impossible to have happened that way, so it was important. Fortunately, re-writing that part ended up making the whole thing that much hotter, IMO.

I'm looking forward to reading your fic! You win too! :D

i am so getting fired as a beta! :( well, at least you don't have to change it, yeah? silver lining here. also, i just went looking for hub 2 pics, and pc andy has about three inches on rhys in a pic of them hugging, i'd say. and andy is leaning, mayhaps. i had no idea russell tovey was shorter/similar height to aidan turner! i think it's the nakedness. naked men are inherently taller. although, last naked man i saw was not tall (twas my neighbor, so he really shouldn't count).

Oh you are not. You have been very helpful, silly! And yup, silver lining here.

Yes, Tovey is! And yeah lol they do make him naked on-screen a lot, don't they? We've seen everything but his bits. Several times. Hopefully more times. Grin.

*will not ask how you say neighbor naked*

Silly George is silly, and wishes he was naked rather than wearing this hat. Just sent you fic. Bed calls.

(Neighbor: classic sit-com -- I locked myself and the dogs out of the house sans phone. His girlfriend let us in to call M, not knowing he would be walking from bathroom to bedroom naked, and he walked from bathroom to bedroom naked not realizing that we were there. Our mutual response was to pretend it did not happen.) :)

Geez! If life was a graded on a bell curve, you'd be really messing things up for the rest of us! :D

Congrats, natch! Particularly on the weight loss.

Re: weight loss, I pulled out the old dance mat and put the DDR2 (Dance Dance Revolution 2) in my PS2 and did twenty minute workouts yesterday and the day before. Giving today a pass, because my muscles were stiff, but getting back in there tomorrow! It's fun, and about the only kind of exercise that doesn't bore me stiff! I would like to lose weight, but mainly I want to get into better shape. I'm tired of playing "run around the house" with the cats and panting like a marathon runner after only a couple passes through the living room.

I honestly have no idea how you do it. 48 days. Me and mine are ridiculously tied at the hip, and we love it. :)

Oh that always sounded like so much fun. I'm a treadmill girl myself, but seriously need to apply some effort to strengthening my inner core. My center of gravity has shifted alot these past months and I'm thinking it has played a little havoc with my posture, and how I carry myself. So, that will be the next chore. LOL.

And feeling like that? It scared me, seeing as I am almost 40-freakin'-7. I don't wanna look old. Now, I don't.

As for the long-distance, it has been amazing. Both of us have had major things to accomplish in life--me getting my life back together after suddenly being single after 22 years, and Nick's uni studies and now his thesis. Being apart physically never meant being apart mentally. I am closer to Nick on that level--someone thousands and thousands of miles away from me--than I *EVER* was to my spouse, right here next to me for 22 years.

Nick's entry into my life is a miracle to me. Miracles should never be ignored. :)

Hear hear for finishing writing, feeling happy in your body, and a terrific partner! (Did the long-distance thing for several years -- tough haul, but amazing what it does for communication.) I love these bursts of joy you post, since it's a rough time here and there on the flist, and you are an inspiration in the self-reinvention department!
