Tired, exhausted, sad, double-taking when turning to say something to Nick and... Well. Will get used to the phone again though of course it is not the same.
The kids picked me up at the airport--were waiting for me--which was awesome to see them both. We ran by Starbucks for our 'free-99' drinks from her friend Casey (she is the manager and gives us free drinks lol). I tried the white chocolate on ice, Nick, and it was too sweet compared to your place. Pout. But free, so...
And then we went home. First off, omg the dogs went INSANE! Shelby was raking with her claws, all 65 lbs. of her, CLaire was waggling all over and Maddox about knocked his crate over and then ZOOMED to me when Kelly let him out. That boy (the dog) was depressed! He lost weight, refused to eat! Has been mopey and very good--Shelby was the bad girl, eating the toothpaste, getting out, snatching Claire's food. And just now she was being all pissy jealous at CLaire for getting attention from me--I had to say SHELBY!
But the real surprise? OMG while I was gone the kids decided to attack the house. Downstairs, Tiff painted the little bathroom, moved all her stuff there, they redid and reorganized the kitchen, every drawer every cabinet--EVERYTHING. It is amazing!
I've had hangings to put on the walls forever and they hung them. LOL. They did everything but my bedroom as TIff said 'that would be nosy.' Damn right--she doesn't need to mess with my private stuff!
They cleaned the carpets and the tiles, dusted, put Christmas stuff away (lol oops) and took stuff to Goodwill (fine!). Put shelves in the kitchen, and made a 'coffee cabinet' lol...and it is all just freaking awesome. The fridge is spotless too! All the laundry is done and folded and put away...I am blown away. The laundry room? Spotless.
This is crazy--they decided that they would be responsible for their own stuff and no longer leave crap around for me to clean up. No complaints here, that is for certain!
Brought them chocolate back and they loved it. I'll do my laundry tomorrow, and lol the rest of the house is so clean and amazing, now I want to redo my room this weekend!
Not tomorrow though. Tomorrow is laundry so I have clean clothes day and relax and talk with Nick on the phone, try to get the other posts up about our trip, etc. I am so tired--trying to unwind but dang it is tough. Should be able to sleep now I think...it'll be hard though, sleeping alone.
Oh wait, forgot--Maddox will sleep with me... LOL.
Nite all...sweet dreams and hey you guys--thanks for being a part of our holiday. Seriously...it was even more fun for getting to share it all with you guys...and we're not even done yet!

Date: 2009-07-17 05:51 am (UTC)About the white mocha, ask them to put half the amount of 'pumps' in it and try it again. ;-) Actually... my fave iced coffee is from McDonald's. Their regular "flavor" is just a simple syrup. They do use cream, though. Eek!
