So, I decided to fill out my info page for the first time. I opened up this particular lj in June of 2006, so I figured why not go ahead and take care of it now. LOL.

Am off to the store to get a drying rack like Nick's, for clothes. Will stick in the bathtub cuz its not used much so it won't be in the way.

Will work on next travel post this afternoon. I'm still on German-time, got up at 4:00 a.m., so we'll see how peppy I am then...might need a short nap to help out. LOL!!!

I am concerned about my addiction to twitter. May have to put it on my mobile since I can't really in good conscience twitter at work...ahh! I do not want to think about Monday. *erases from mind*

Lotsa thinky thoughts on writing mystery going on in my brain. I have an idea that slammed me while on the plane, and I am going for it. SO THERE! First person, FEMALE POV. YUP! TRUE THAT! Ha! May share more later on that, in a closed post though of course. Set in Wales, yup. It is time...

I am also going to make dog biscuits for my dogs. I know, I am weird, but this recipe looks really good. Need to get a cookie cutter shaped like a bone or something. Maybe like a cat?

Ari’s Oat Biscuits
1 cup flour (I use whole grain spelt or brown rice flour)
1 cup oatmeal
½ cup wheat germ
½ cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons molasses
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Pinch of salt
Dash of honey

Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add molasses, butter, 2 tablespoons oil, and ¾ cup water. Stir well, then turn out on a well-floured surface. Knead for 2-3 minutes, then roll into a thick round. Cut biscuits and layer on baking stone. Mix remaining 1 tablespoon oil with dash of honey. Brush on biscuits. Cook at 350° F for approximately 30 minutes. Let cool and harden before storing.

Tasty, yes? I can eat them too! LOL.

Oh and speaking of eating--am supremely chuffed to report I gained less than 2 lbs. on the trip. Shouldn't take but a few days to knock that 1.8 off. I am THRILLED with this fact...proves in spades that what I did worked as well as I was told it would. Hell yeah! GO ME!!!

My only concern though is that as a smaller person, Nick now can wrestle me into submission. Still not sure how I feel about that. *makes notes to incorporate strength-training into new health plan* LOL.

Do you mind if I ask you how you lost the weight?
