I got my assignment a few minutes ago and am ecstatic, though I know nothing about _________. I don't care, it is all fantastic, much to love (and learn lol).
TO MY YULETIDE PERSON: I didn't specify much in my requests, just primarily that you enjoy yourself with what you do. If you want more specifics, let the mods know and I will be happy to provide something more concrete.
Little notes though: THE LION KING is very special to me as it came out when my daughter was around 5 years old, my son 2--I left him at home with his dad and Tiff and I went to see the movie together. She loved Disney movies--still does (is 20 now) and Lion King (and Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast) were very much part of our lives as my kids grew up. Nala was her favorite character, and I love her too...and Pumba and Timon just make us laugh. I'd love a Nala adventure with danger! danger! danger! It can be gutwrenching, or sweet and funny, I don't care.
Shakespeare--I chose Shakespeare plays for my other requests primarily because these three had many many offers, and no requests! I felt sorry for them. I love Shakespearean times, have many books I've devoured and next year will be writing a historical fantasy based on Shakespearean times (though a Ben Jonson, not Shakespeare, will be bouncing around the pages. Jonson was much more wickedly inspiring). (If you want to RPF this, actors in one of the plays, I am ALL for that, any time period--doesn't' have to be modern day. Just thought of that! In fact, might try my hand at that myself sometime.)
