Yes, I signed up. It is all
katilara's fault. She made me do it. (Always nice to have someone else to blame, yes?) I've never done it before, never felt serious about wanting to. But this year? My November is clear, as is December and January. Three months, 50,000 words a month for 150,000 total by February 22. And why is that date important to me? That is when Nick arrives for six weeks of good ol' fashioned Texas pleasure fun!
Please let me know if you are doing it too. The Nanowrimo, I mean. cparagraphs is my name and dark fantasy is the game.
Now, I am not sure how to make this link say something cute, but here is where I am: http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/225415
I also bought one of these from Ebay today.

I had one years ago, earlier model of course, and found it extremely convenient. I stupidly gave it away to someone who now, LOL, I imagine burned it because of her warped ideas of who I am. Growl. Snark. I don't give a damn. I am pleased with the purchase and chose not to get the wireless one. The idea is to NOT have internet, and yet be able to tote this puppy wherever I go.
I have signed up for my region's group kickoff which will be this weekend at the Ol' South Pancake House. It has been open since 1962--oh so long ago--and actually was part of a bowling alley, Let's Bowl. I remember going to it when I was little. They had animals like monkeys there too. Let's Bowl eventually burned down--a tragedy!--but the pancake house was saved. Yay! It is, well, old but it has Atmosphere. So anyway, Sunday am doing that--gonna FORCE myself to MEET PEOPLE. Oh my gosh I do not know about this. People? Me? Shudder....
Shelby is doing great. She is putting on some weight finally, and her coat is thickening for winter. I have all four dogs on Canidae--which is all meat, veggies and fruit. NO GRAINS. (To those of you who are out there who have pups--look at your dog food ingredients. Is corn on there? If it is, I send out a plea to rethink what you are feeding your dog. Why? Dog foods with corn are almost always rated very low in nutritional value. To get enough nutrition, a canine--which is NOT a cow--must eat 2-3 times what a normal meat-based diet would require, and that is 2-3 times more POOP!!! Ugh. On Canidae, I feed the dogs far less than I did on cow-food dog food, which is what corn based diets are. Ugh. If you wanna know more, just ask. I'm soooo all about feeding high quality food. I drive to Weatherford to get the Canidae and it is worth it. Two big bags last a month for four and they are looking mighty good.
Okay sorry. I am just really carried away with proper nutrition for my dogs. LOL. Anyway, here's the kids... Maddox of course is the black and white, Shelby the red and white.
Enjoy!
Kisses:

Killer Maddox

Maddy the Muddy--I wasn't sure where he got the mud from
