I swear, my flist's face has changed so much these last few weeks...thanks to all who popped on and friended me. I'm easy--I friended you back. :)  Obviously.

*waves*

Happy times to come--looks like summer of 2009, Nick and I will be headed to Cardiff, Wales.

WHHHEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Um, excited much?  You bet!  Logistics still to be figured out, but instead of Berlin this trip to Germany, we'll hop on a plane and pop up to London, then toddle over to Cardiff.

Sigh. I guess this means the John Barrowman infatuation must continue...

We already know where to stay, too, thanks to Lifty's suggestion. *beams*  It feels wonderful to have something to look forward to.  Long as we have that, and know WHEN we will be together again, we can endure anything.

Wales. Me. Us. TOGETHER--SQUEE!!!!

Yay! I'm happy for you, that sounds so fantastic! I want to go to Wales too; I've been to Northern Ireland and England and I get to go to Scotland next month so Wales is the only country I have left in the UK... :P Cardiff seems like such a great place though!

Yeah--this is Nick's idea, and I am excited too. There will be lots of things to see. I have to save HARD--taking 200 bucks out of each paycheck--in order to have enough to do it right but it will be worth it.

I already told Nick in his journal: if you somehow happen to pass by F, we should arrange for a meet up, however short it might be.

I honestly would love to meet you.

Ahhh Cats! That would be cool! There is a straight flight from Hamburg to London...but who knows how my crazy flight to Germany and back will go. I went through Frankfurt once but literally ran through the airport to catch the plane to Hamburg...I didn't exactly see it.

So if it works out, I'd love to meet with you. :)

If you want tips on what to see and where to go, just ask. Cardiff itself - unless you're a rabid Torchwood fan - isn't all that interesting, but Wales is a small country with plenty of sights hidded away.

Excuse me while I get nostalgic...

Actually, (this is Nick, btw), we did discuss this and besides the Cardiff Millenium centre/Water Tower/by the bay part of Cardiff (for TW reasons and in general) and Cardiff Castle we are quite open to suggestions. We will probably keep London to a minimum too because we are not necessarily interested in the photo-sights, if you like, and have actually been discussing the options of exploring naturey/castelly Wales (as much as you can in two or three days) because that is something we are into, so we are definitely open for suggestions there. We will be restricted to public transport, because I'm not trusting C on British roads :P, but as far as I'm aware it should be less of a problem in Wales than it would be in the States.

But yes, if you have a few suggestions we would be quite happy to hear them.

We want to find the hidden sites! I can't believe we are going, but going we are...and open to suggestions. We like to tromp around, not afraid to cover many miles in a day via footpower. I long to stand in the middle of nowhere and just breathe in and look around me, marveling.

We're not rapid TORCHWOOD fans, but Nick definitely is rabid about Barrowman...grin...so I am sure we will want to see where that invisible lift is... LOL.

Nick is a super-planner, and I am just happy to go anywhere and see anything with him. I am a huge history buff though--so I know I will especially favor those sites steeped in history

But not rabid Torchwood fans either... *smirks*, honest.

but Nick definitely is rabid about Barrowman...grin...so I am sure we will want to see where that invisible lift is...

Thank god you didn't say 'where ... Barrowman lives' ... now that would have been fairly embarrassing.

I dunno, Barrowman makes your heart beat raPidly... you are silly.

Of course I did not say that, of course not. It would not be smart to say you fully intend to stake out Mr. Barrowman's house, no not smart at all.

For the record, we are banterin' and I don't actually intend to stalk Barrowman. Just saying-

but yknow, I would like to walk his dogs...

now... that sounds dirty.

Whee, indeed! I'd *love* to visit Wales - I'm obsessed with the place for some reason. It was just always too out of the way when I was in the UK. But hey, now you can tell me all about it and give me tips on which places are worth visiting once I do get around to it. :)

Have fun planning your trip!

Nick will plan it, he'll just tell me when to be there. I can't wait. When he told me he was going to go this spring, I pouted. I wanted to be with him but there was no way I can go that soon. I have some things to take care of here.

So when he decided to wait until I can go too--and when his next school break lands-I was ecstatic!

There will be more to come in here over the coming months, I am positive!

Hi! I am one of the newbies and wanted to drop by and say hello *waves*
Thanks for friending me back ;)

Oh and that sure looks as a divine signal that the John Barrowman infatuation must go on hehe

Have fun!
