I swear, my flist's face has changed so much these last few weeks...thanks to all who popped on and friended me. I'm easy--I friended you back. :)  Obviously.

*waves*

Happy times to come--looks like summer of 2009, Nick and I will be headed to Cardiff, Wales.

WHHHEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Um, excited much?  You bet!  Logistics still to be figured out, but instead of Berlin this trip to Germany, we'll hop on a plane and pop up to London, then toddle over to Cardiff.

Sigh. I guess this means the John Barrowman infatuation must continue...

We already know where to stay, too, thanks to Lifty's suggestion. *beams*  It feels wonderful to have something to look forward to.  Long as we have that, and know WHEN we will be together again, we can endure anything.

Wales. Me. Us. TOGETHER--SQUEE!!!!

If you want tips on what to see and where to go, just ask. Cardiff itself - unless you're a rabid Torchwood fan - isn't all that interesting, but Wales is a small country with plenty of sights hidded away.

Excuse me while I get nostalgic...

Actually, (this is Nick, btw), we did discuss this and besides the Cardiff Millenium centre/Water Tower/by the bay part of Cardiff (for TW reasons and in general) and Cardiff Castle we are quite open to suggestions. We will probably keep London to a minimum too because we are not necessarily interested in the photo-sights, if you like, and have actually been discussing the options of exploring naturey/castelly Wales (as much as you can in two or three days) because that is something we are into, so we are definitely open for suggestions there. We will be restricted to public transport, because I'm not trusting C on British roads :P, but as far as I'm aware it should be less of a problem in Wales than it would be in the States.

But yes, if you have a few suggestions we would be quite happy to hear them.

We want to find the hidden sites! I can't believe we are going, but going we are...and open to suggestions. We like to tromp around, not afraid to cover many miles in a day via footpower. I long to stand in the middle of nowhere and just breathe in and look around me, marveling.

We're not rapid TORCHWOOD fans, but Nick definitely is rabid about Barrowman...grin...so I am sure we will want to see where that invisible lift is... LOL.

Nick is a super-planner, and I am just happy to go anywhere and see anything with him. I am a huge history buff though--so I know I will especially favor those sites steeped in history

But not rabid Torchwood fans either... *smirks*, honest.

but Nick definitely is rabid about Barrowman...grin...so I am sure we will want to see where that invisible lift is...

Thank god you didn't say 'where ... Barrowman lives' ... now that would have been fairly embarrassing.

I dunno, Barrowman makes your heart beat raPidly... you are silly.

Of course I did not say that, of course not. It would not be smart to say you fully intend to stake out Mr. Barrowman's house, no not smart at all.

For the record, we are banterin' and I don't actually intend to stalk Barrowman. Just saying-

but yknow, I would like to walk his dogs...

now... that sounds dirty.
