In other news, getting closer to good news re: the ms at Loose-Id, I got another great fanmail emailie (makes my heartstrings sing!), my royalty check DOUBLED from last month, my sister is gonna send me 1k as partial pay-back from when she borrowed money from me last year, or was it the year before that, AND...my electric bill was CUT IN HALF with my new company!

www.greenmountain.com, I LOVE YOU!

And Reliant? #$@* OFF! (I leave the cussing to N, yeah)

It pays to go green!

We shall be able to eat in Wales.

probably best
there's really nothing you can do
and most ppl that i know always buy the dvd/cd/book/whatever after they download it anyway - we're just impatient and have to have things RIGHT NOW!

LOL yeah, am impatient about a few things I shall not mention...

If I found any book of mine on megaupload though (a friend found her book there) I'd kill that one. But torrents are impossible.

And hey never know--those folks might buy my next books, and that would be greatness. :)

No fails, no reason to!!!!

write something hot, full of torment and angst, and have a stunning and wow-inducing (same thing?) HEA even though it seems ALL must be lost. Cuz of course it was, until!!!

And write it m/m. Boys in love, yeah... Make one strong (but vulnerable!), the other boyish (but stronger than anyone could guess)...give 'em cool careers, set them somewhere way fun, and do it!

Sit buns in chair and write write write...

easy peasy!

one sec, i has to check
...
title "out of the pocket" about SoCal HS QB (hehe, abbrev.) who sort of accidentally comes out (very low on angst and mostly positive reception to the news, some dissent from classmates, and a sort of boy meets boy first time thing - way cute)

other one was... "what they always tell us" about 2 brothers, older one kinda popular, younger one bit of an outcast (due to "things") more angsty than the other but happy ended and more detail on the 'first time relationship' stuff

both YA at my library, but really not bad

long fic of doom has one more part to go! wheee!

Oh sweet! I like the sound of both of those.

When Nick and I were in San Francisco we went to a really nice bookstore in the Castro district, found several really good books there. I wrote down a list of some of the titles and never looked them up. But I was amazed at the variety of the books...frankly the m/m books I write are bought mostly by women, though i get guys too now and then. ]

I'm on a book-buying moratorium though...saving up for our Wales trip so we have money for petrol. LOL. but I'll keep the titles, this time.

your long fic of doom--it is not posted, yet, parts of it, is it? :)

Okay cool. COOL.

No quitting allowed.

Nick and I don't remember the name of that bookstore, just that it was fun. Loved the Castro District.

Did not love the Tenderloin District....
