Anyone jumping into the vat of boiling oil and committing 31 days to the madness? I'm going to join in on the local level...see if I can dig out some decent writerly types in this city I live in where no one knows my name...
What the heck, why not.
Anyone else?

Date: 2009-09-16 02:18 am (UTC)In all seriousness though, I wish you luck with your pursuit. It was such an out of character thing for me to do, to go to those meetings alone, and some of those people have left my life, and that's probably a good thing, but I'll never forget them and I'm really, really lucky to have the ones that are left.
If I do it this year, I don't even know that I'll go to meetings. I'm trying to work on something so focused, something that I don't really want to talk about right now outside of my group of friends and supporters, that I'm not sure the group events would be helpful. (Although, steampunk is in these days, so it might behoove me to get there a few times to check out any possible competition.)
